A discussion of the latest developments in human-computer interaction, featuring three guests. Andy Hertzfeld was one of the key designers of the original Macintosh computer. After leaving Apple, he co-founded several other companies, including General Magic, to further push the limits of computing, and he’s currently involved in creating leading edge products for Google. Andy is the author of “Revolution in the Valley”, a book about the early days of the Mac, and he’s the creator of www.folklore.org, a website devoted to collective historical storytelling. Isaac Majerowicz is an electrical engineer with degrees from both Caltech and the University of the Andes in Bogota, Colombia, and currently works as a product manager at Cisco Systems, one of the leaders in the fast growing field of telepresencing. Eileen Clegg is a visual journalist who draws murals to capture and record the essence of innovative ideas, and who draws a real time mural live on the show to record the highlights of this episode.
